I am certified as a Dr. Vodder Manual Lymph Drainage Therapist. This international organization provides training in the original method of manual lymph drainage (MLD), and their website is useful if you're looking for more information about this technique.
I took my wonderful oncology massage class with Tracy Walton in June of 2011.
This is the continuing education class I took to receive my certification in pregnancy and postpartum massage.

Cancer Resource Links
Imerman Angels "provides personalized connections that enable 1-on-1 support among cancer fighters, survivors and caregivers." It's a great free resource, so no one has to fight cancer alone.
Thousand Waves Spa in Chicago provides a Stress Management Program for women with cancer, allowing these women to receive 5 free massages and 5 free spa visits. Visit their website for more information.
I am a provider through the Heartwood Foundation which allows low-income women with current or a history of breast cancer to receive six free massage sessions.
I am a certified Oncology Massage Therapist through the Society for Oncology Massage. Their website has a lot of information about massage during and after cancer treatment. You can also find an oncology massage therapist in other cities and states on their website.
Massage Practice Links
You can use this site check to make sure your massage therapist is licensed by the state of Illinois. Since 2005, all massage therapists in Illinois are required to be licensed. There is currently no way to link to my entry directly, but it can be found via the license lookup page using "massage therapist" as the profession.
