I am a provider through the Heartwood Foundation which allows low-income women with current or a history of breast cancer to receive six free massage sessions.
I am a certified Oncology Massage Therapist through the Society for Oncology Massage. Their website has a lot of information about massage during and after cancer treatment. You can also find an oncology massage therapist in other cities and states on their website.
You can use this site check to make sure your massage therapist is licensed by the state of Illinois. Since 2005, all massage therapists in Illinois are required to be licensed. There is currently no way to link to my entry directly, but it can be found via the license lookup page using "massage therapist" as the profession.
